i listened to both. my mom loved to buy singles. when she was younger it was 45s and when i was lil' it was tapes. we still have them.

Probably a record player - I probably had a few tapes by that age, too, though. I got my first CD player and CDs for my 16th birthday in 1993.

I think tapes. We had a lot of records, but the record player was busted and we couln't afford a new one.
