1.Subtract the number of wins the second place team (or third place team, fourth place team, etc.) has from the number of wins the first place team has.

2.Subtract the number of losses the first place team has from the number of losses the second place team has.

3. Add those two numbers together and divide by two. Sometimes when you add those two numbers together, the sum will be an odd number, which is where the half game comes from.
