How do you figure that out? The only person/people who would make money is the drug dealers. Oh NO, wait. The government would also make money because of the taxes. But that's it. So how do you figure it would revitalize our economy? NOT to mention the FACT that drugs DO KILL all to many people. DID YOU forget that little fact?

Drugs are a killer for some folks. They should stay away from them, for their own good. But adults should be making their own decisions about this. The government should have no role, except to tax their sale to support rehabilitation programs.

If coke were legal and encouraged, you'd have a bunch of addicts on your hands who don't want to work, and are more concerned about their next fix than anything else... I don't see how that would help, they'd be so out of it (eventually) that they're useless

pot is a lot cheaper to grow & process than tobacco, joints would only be 5 cents each & everyone would gain 200lbs from the munchies, busses & cars would have to be twice as big to carry them & use twice as much fuel so it would bad for the environment unless the gov. gave out free speed to keep their weight down then the whole country would be WHACK
