There is an urban "myth" that a group of people decided to live in the disused tunnels and passages of the London Underground, and evolved in to a distinct society, never having seen the light of day.

What do you reckon?

Why not? There's a similar thing here in NYC. I don't think the "never see the light of day", but there's a little society down there of homeless individuals who live in the tunnels and come out for their everyday needs. They did a documentary on it a few years ago.

Lol I used to live in London too! I miss it too. I've never been to New York City before. I would want to live in London though but visit NYC. And your right about the air too.

The movie about the NYC people the lady before was talking about is called "In Search of the Mole People" It is not actually a documentary, it is made to look like one but is actually based on facts. It is very interesting and I mean really who knows?

thats a myth based on fact. i believe that sometime ago there were a group of tramp like people that did indeed live in the underground sewers and piping for some months, when they were found i believe that they were all mentally ill. they made a film based on it but i cant remember the name. basically they were just mentally ill tramps, not subhuman cannibals or anything like that

I imagine some homeless people might live down there but I should think they'd have to come up for food etc.

i would assume they'd be blind bc without light, your eyes stop working after 56 hours. i wonder if they have really pale skin like the people in the film - the descent. they looked moist
