It is about time for the UN to take some actions.
However, these Peace Keeping Operation mush be given tooth, backbone and mandate to take actions as they see fit.
Furthermore, if the underlining issues do not resolve to everyone satisfactory, this will be a extremely long and painful operation.
We must learn from history that traditional Peace Keeping Operation will not improve the situation at all. It will only prolong the current crisis.
What we need is to create pressure to force both sides, particular the government, to come to the table and talk until a solution is form. Even if this mean dividing the county into 2.

The Sudanese government has reported that any peacekeepers that come into the country would be seen invaders, and their presence an act of conflict. 3. What makes all and sundry think of that an identical jihadist combat against the U. S. does not take place in Darfur, too? Do human beings not understand that there are a number of Muslims in and around Sudan? 4. If we do, will the liberals all run all the way down to their recruiters and connect the defense force? The UN peace keepers are a joke...if anything the bright blue APVs and helmets make great targets for the troublemakers!

hope they are peace enforcers rather than keepers who seem to have orders to send messages to the UN rather than bullets in the direction of rapists and killers.

its good their (UN) doing something (unlike in Rwanda). Although, the troops will not have much power, so who knows what effect they will have.
