I am American so I can't really say if he was a good prime minister... But in my opinion he was very bad for America by giving some credibility to Bush's debacle in the Middle East therefore making it last to this day.

I lived in London in 1994-1995 when Blair was a member of Parliament... I liked him then but his relationship with Bush was a huge disappointment..

In spite of his grovelling to the Americans ,Tony Blair single- handedly dragged the Labour Party kicking and screaming into the 21st century.The tragedy of his relationship with the US is that it helped neither country.
