$7 was the average amount I got... maybe she could try $9 or $10 - depending on the hours and the age of whom she babysits.

It depends on where in the USA she lives.
In NYC, babysitting charges will be more than what someone living in middle America, would charge.
Your gf should figure out how much money she wants to make for the number of kids she watches, and double that
amount, if she thinks she can get it. That's what I would do.

dont babysit...a lot of liability and other crap..
