Well, the bottom line is that the democratically elected government of Iraq needs to step up to the plate and build their security forces to the point where they can maintain stability without US help. They have, unfortunately, been dragging their feet in this process.

At the same time one minority ethnic group who previously enjoyed ultimate control during Hussein's reign is not very excited about playing a more limited role under a democratic system where the previously oppressed majority now holds most of the power. This combined with a general hatred of the US throughout the Middle East (mostly because of our support of Israel) who would very much like to give the US as many "black eyes" as it can along with some pretty opportunistic Islamic fundamentalists who would love to see an Islamist theocracy installed makes for a pretty darned tenacious insurgency.

Being a pacifist is fairly noble, at least in thought. Nobody likes war. Unfortunately, the realities of life are often more harsh and complicated that we would like them to be.

Let the massacre continue until one side wins and the other side loses. Then the massacre might stop, but don't be too optimistic about it. The most brutal people will win.
This has been the history of Islam since the start, and from before that even. The culture of the region is violent and brutal.

You need to look at history more carefully. Conflicts can take a long time to resolve, and there are some that are still ongoing after generations - many generations.

To your hopeless grammar and syntax? At this stage in the game, it's highly unlikely.
