people say they love rap but how it's horrible
i think they just say they like that junk because there friends say they do

umm, only ignorant people would say something that dumb.
if thats true then its true for the posers that like MCR, and FOB. cus the people that like that kind of music hate those bands.i liked them both like almost 4 years ago. but they are total sell outs. rap is much more poetic than any other kind of music. listen to kanye west, sage francis, good artist. you dont like it cus you see the music that 50 cent makes, and you stereotype a WHOLE genre of music as crappy stuff that is all about drugs and violence.
just to let you know im white, and i am not a wigger. i am a scene kid. i know my music, and its not anything that airs on MTV, or the radio..unless its college radio.

Lol...another question that doesn't make much of a point. Let me think of a similar situation to help you understand ...Well, you remind me of myself when I was younger (I didn't make much sense). I said I hate Rock music because its horrible. I used to say it sounds funny and I gave some other reasons for hating it. But, I realized that I never even listened to it much. I just didn't like the songs I heard. I asked myself how could I hate it all then. I don't know if you like rock music, but if you do, wouldn't you have disagreed with me. You would probably tell me that all rock music isn't the same. That's what I found out for myself. I still don't listen to rock music much, but I do like it. I like rap music because I do, not because of my friends like it. Although, I do think some people do like rap just because of their friends. But, it all boils down to personal taste.

Yeah, I'm from the Yay Area where we "get hyphee and go dumb" and there's a lot of posers (wannabes) around here that think they're gangsters or rappers and it gets a little annoying sometimes. I like rap a little but not a whole lot.

Well I like it...for some songs if you take away the music and read it like poetry it sounds really beautiful...take away the music to mocking bird...It is really deep talking about problems that a lot of children face today...sometimes rap is like poetry with a beat

No. I actually do like some rap. Sorry that you think the world has all the same damn taste. Maybe you only know mainstream rap on MTV. I can't stand that music...I like older stuff that has meaning to it. But still...there are even people out there that like todays rap...or whatever you want to call it.

Not all rap is bad, negative, disgusting, whatever you wanna call it. There's actually good rap out there. That's just like someone saying "Lyk omfg, lyk why do people lyk rock it's like so nasty and about drugs and lyk booze and stuff".

rap is sort of a challenge...so when you hear rap it kinda makes you wanna try and see if you can rap that fast and keep up with the lyricist...so to some its sort of a word puzzle/challenge
