I asked a question about the socialist in this country wanting take from those that work hard to give to those that won't.
Automatically, without question, I was....
1. A republican...sorry...not here...I am independent.
2. Was on welfare and that is how I got where I am...no...sorry...never took a government handout
3. A racist...yeah....tell that to my Mexican son
4. Conservative...yeah when it comes to my money...not so much with personal freedoms
5. "Had EVERYTHING handed to me"...not quite..going from being homeless to were I am now took a lot of work. Would have been easier to get a handout...but not my style thanks...
And the best one...
6. A white male...HA HA HA HA...one poster told me that I am where I am because I have never struggled like a woman...NO...I struggled like any other human when trying to get out of a pile of crap...and yes...I am a woman.
Why do people ASSume so much on here?

Certain questions are usually asked by a certain group of people (stereotypical would be a good word to describe them). The fact that you think everyone assumes to much, itself, is a large assumption on your part!
The people who are the largest welfare recipients in this country is big business! They are also the biggest frauds!
And 1/2 of your tax dollar goes toward the deficit and the military, and that will be going up by about 4 TRILLION!
I guess my question to you is why you assume the largest part of our society (1/2 of the families in this country make less than $25,000) don't need help, while the money they are taxed goes to the wealthy?
The top 1% have almost 90% of this nations wealth, and Rupurt Murdoch for instance, is going to control a large part of the media, and the stock market! Print a story and make some money!
Bought any tap water lately?
Oh, before I forget, almost all on assistance are children, who can't work; the elderly, who have already worked; and the disabled who cannot work! You also have to figure in that there will never, ever, (due to our system of supply and demand) be such a thing as full employment. You also have to realize that almost 1/2 of the homeless work full-time!
And who are those who won't? You also paint all with the same paint brush, which isn't the case! Usually that is a conservative philosophical way of dealing with issues!
You can claim you are Independent all you want. That doesn't make you really an independent. I am one as well, and I almost always vote Democrat! You act as if that is a sign of your neutrality! I don't think it is!
I don't target anyone! And I suspect those who do are conservatives who have no answers, and don't like your answer! That has been my experience from most of the nasty neocon hate mail I get!
