Donaghey by far; some say he's going to spill the beans on other refs and players. if he does watch out. There are already death threats against him. What league wants to admit that the games are fixed. This could be extremely bad for a struggling league that has poor ratings at times.

The Donaghy story is by far the most damaging out of the three. The NFL will thrive with or without Vick and people will still watch the games. Baseball players have found ways to get an unnatural edge all the time and that game has survived worse. Besides, it's not like Bonds has never won a championship and so the only reason people are booing about him is because of their precious record, which will be broken again in 6-8 years anyway.
But a sport can't survive if people think the outcome is fixed. This is why Pete Rose was banned from the HoF. It's why there's no major franchises in Las Vegas. And basketball is particularly vulnerable because the ref can influence the outcome so easily. Think about it. Everytime your team loses or gets a lot of calls against them, you're going to make a Donaghy reference or a Donaghy joke. That league's going to have to make some major investments into paying and training their refs more, then watching them like a hawk and reviewing games and questionable calls over and over again, if they want to restore enough credibility to get back to where they were. I think it's even worse then the Hoyzer scandal since the NBA's the top basketball league.
The only other contender I can think of is cycling. It seems like half the riders were let go for blood doping at this year's Tour de France. Last year's champ will probably lose his title and this year's leader had to leave the race with only a few days left to go, not because he was caught doping, but because he didn't report to get tested. It's to the point where they should almost throw their hands up in the air and just let them dope and inject however they please!

The referee scandal in the NBA is by far the worst. Referees are supposed to be the only unbiased people in the game. Without that, it's as much sport as WWE. If that gets any worse, heads will roll or the NBA could be finished.
Beyond that, the steriods in MLB including Bonds among others. Why do you think there was an effort to supress the release of names of players implicated in a steroid ring last week? MLB is fighting it like mad because it will really tick off the fans if they find out how deep it really goes. The Tour de France also shows how a sport that is serious can test for just about anything, even things MLB claims cannot be tested for.
The Vick issue is limited to one player. Even though he's a high profile player, he has made much less of an impact in the NFL than he did in college.

Donaghy, cause that rips at the integrity of the whole league. and how the nba doesnt either have control of their refs, especially since they are saying this was going on for a period of over 2 or 3 years. Mike vick while it is a publicity nightmare, his actions only effect the individual it has nothing to do with the league itself and doesnt really hurt the game. Steriods in baseball, is such an old story i think people have just accepted. How about lindsey lohan in the movies or britney spears in the music industry, or the steriods in the tour de france.

Vick doesn't hurt the NFL - it is better without him. He was never a very good player, just a media sensation.
Donaghy hurts the NBA because many people thought the Spurs/Suns series wasn't officiated right BEFORE this broke. Now, everyone will be wondering?????
Baseball records should have been cut off 10 years ago, and start new categories for the modern game that includes steroids, tiny strike zone, lower pitcher mound, smaller ballparks, livelier ball, etc. Or just make modern home runs count for 1/2 . Drop modern batting averages about 30 points before comparing them with the old ones. Baseball is still a great sport - just don't try to compare these modern statistics to the old. Bonds is just the most glaring example of what is wrong with baseball. Plus he is one of the biggest jerks in sports history.
I think all those guys deserve a nice vacation at the Graybar Hotel!

Its gotta be Donaghy gambling in the NBA. Stern better handle that the right way. That can damage the entire credibility of the league.
Steriods in baseball is so played out that I don't think anyone cares anymore.
As for Vick, well... I couldn't care if he's in the league or not. That case effects a team more then the league.

I agree with the NBA gambling. Vick has hurt himself more than the NFL. At least the NFL can distance it's self from Vick. But the NBA has no place to hide. While I absolutely abhore what Vick did, what has happened in the NBA is a disgrace to that sport. Bonds and his steroids will get what they deserve in the long run - a ruined health.

The Donaghy and the Gambling scandel in the NFL. It really hurts the integerity of the game, because a REF is betting on games. He could have fixed a game in his favor, and years from now, the public will still question every foul called in the NBA.

In this order:
1.Gambling by NBA ref, it destroys the integrity of the game, now you will always suspect the outcome of any game.
2.Bonds in steroids, again whether or not he used the steroids the integrity of the game had been put into question.
3.Vick and dogs, not a big thing for NFL because the sport wasnt compromised.

Gambling in the NBA is the worst...this hurts the integrity of the game more than any other.
Vick is hurting himself, but his actions will not affect trust in the actual sport itslef.
Steroids in baseball...could it affect games, sure...but not like a ref calling an extra foul throw to get the score up.
Funny how there is nothing serious going on in hockey, a sport almost completely removed from the radar lately. Seems to be the only sport without any serious issues of, what were, the big 4 leagues.
