you can go 2 different directions
1. either you put a male betta in there, with at least 6 zebra danios (they are schooling fish) and the cory

2. or you could buy 3 females ( it's proven they can live together, they will only choose the so called peckking order, that's it, after that they won't fight ) and put them in with the zebra danios and the cory

Bettas get along with both of these fish out of experience actually

It's definately not overcrowded either way

Hope that helps
Good luck

danios are wayyyy too active to be stuck in a 10 gallon. its just not enough room for them.

if you can, trade the danios for a smaller tetra, such as neons. they have nice colors and stay very small. tetras like to school, 6 would be a good number.
get 2 more panda cories (they like to be in groups of 3).

a male OR female betta would be absolutely fine with neons and cories.

however, if you choose to keep the danios in the 10, and also get a betta, you will have problems. danios are extremely active and WILL nip the bettas fins.

Yes you can but just a suggestion you should have 5 or more Zebra danios together unless you want the male betta's fins to be torn apart

male bettas get along with any fish but another male betta my fish tank had about 10 fish 1 was a betta and 1 was a danio and they got along fine but the female betta is ok too but with the male and the female betta you might get baby bettas! oh yea the panda cory is ok too!

You can keep either, but not both. Since you don't have any other fish that resemble a betta in any way, either a male or female would live peacefully in that tank.

Don't believe the myth that bettas will slaughter everything that crosses their path. Bettas are only aggressive towards other bettas, or fish who they mistake to be other bettas (due to long flowing fins, or bright colours.)

women human beings do ultimate in atypical numbers so 3 may be greater powerful than 2. do no longer attempt to living house a male with the girls human beings. They improve into fairly aggressive with the girls human beings in the event that they do no longer choose to reproduce and could kill them. they're with regard to an analogous interest point as male bettas they swim around yet are not "zippy" fish. confident the tank desires to be cycled

you can have one or the other, but not both. I have three dainos in with my male betta, as well a few other peaceful community fish. I have a 15 gal tank.

if the other fish dont have long fins or are agressive you can not keep a male betta with them but a female you ca keep with almost anything.

ONLY female, no males. The male will be agressive, especially towards the Danios.
