i think you should talk to her, and tell her that you cant be with her because of the friendship that family have. But if she keep telling you stuff tell her dad, "your friend".
I always want a older man, but now that i think about it is not good for both of us because the guy will want to do different stuff than me. and he will died faster. if she will be 28 it will be ok but 18 i dont think so.
I think you should talk with her, and then with her dad. Is for the good of you guys.

Hugh Hefner does it and there is more of an age gap than what you got...and he is doing it with 3 girls not just one! If she is above 18 technically she is an adult now and legal. How ever you are an adult with much more wisdom than her since you have lived more life experiences than she has I am sure. Level the playing field by telling anyone that deep in your heart if the tables were turned and you were in someone elses shoes that you would probably want to know. Good luck!

Just leave it at that. She'll grow out of it.
You could point out that the ideal age for a woman is half the man's age plus 10. If she'd like to wait until you're 102 and she's 61, she's in with a chance.

First, never, EVER, allow yourself to be alone with this girl. If you think she is manipulating events so you will end up being alone with her, make your excuses. Turn up with a friend, something like that. If she doesn't get the message have a clear, straightforward, heart to heart with her in front of another responsible adult, and surreptitiously tape record the conversation, or even videotape if possible. I am being neither dramatic nor metaphorical; Hell may have no fury like a woman scorned but that's nothing compared to a hysterical eighteen year old in full flight. Kids nowadays can be nasty, mean and spiteful in their vengeance and she knows that the accusation of illicit sex between you will be enough to destroy you, even if those accusations turn out to be complete nonsense. I have been in this position and know whereof I speak. Fortunately my accuser (a young man in my case) had based his description of my flat (where our "trysts" took place) on photos in a local newspaper, and it wasn't my flat! Nonetheless I nearly lost my marriage and my career because of the little scumbag's accusations, and am still subject to the occasional meaningful glance or snicker from locals. Don't let it happen to you.

No don't tell your friend - it will only embarrass the girl. Be well behaved and above board with her and she will soon move on. Tell her straight if she asks you for anything more that its out of the question. Don't worry! Its not your fault just normal teenage behavior. Same thing as having a crush on the teacher. Its a 'safe' way of being flirty withoout having to go all the way!

The only thing that holds you back is the friendship with her father and the friendship she has with your daughter.
Considering yourself a dog for the mere fact that you are attractive to a much younger woman is outrageous. Be honest with yourself and consider the scenario of not having her father or your daughter between the two of you . You would not only feel honored and flattered by such attraction but I think you would jump at the chance of, in all fairness to you both, to enjoy more than the crush she has on you.
I admire your sense of civility and decency, but I can't agree with you on the fact that there could 'never' be anything between you two! Kudos to you for being able to attract the attention of an 18 year old to the point of a crush. You should feel great about it!

stay away from her house. If you want to see your mate (the girl's dad) then meet him somewhere, or invite him to your place.
Tell your daughter (make it sound jokey) that this girl has a crush on you, and get your daughter to keep the girl away from your home.
I think you probably feel extremely flattered

Just keep making it clear to her that you are not interested. I would only take action if her actions are becoming inappropriate or making you feel uncomfortable. staying clear of her for a while might help. Don't let yourself be alone with her.

Just keep your distance as you have told her.
It is not unusual for girls to have a crush on older men.
Do not tell anybody, she would feel betrayed. And she will get over it.
