Let me disappoint you, but a 15 year old cannot get married in Mexico at that age, if you are under 18 and want to do that stupidity, the parents have to give permission. Besides you are 18 he is 15 that is illegal too!!!! You can be accused to have perverted a minor. If you are not mexican you need an special permit to get married in Mexico, so put the hamster of your head to run and THINK!!!!!!!!! this is a real stupidity!!!

I'm not sure, but in THIS country, sleeping with a 15 year old is statuatory rape. And why on earth would you want to marry a 15 year old? He can't support you financially, probably doesn't have a driver's license, and what if you get pregnant? Do you really think he would be a good father, when he's still a child himself. Wake up and wait another 5 years before you even consider this.

The marrying age in Mexico is 18 without parental consent. The marriage wouldn't even be legal in Mexico much less the USA.

I know it is hard to believe, like a science fiction story, but... we have laws in Mexico, and I seriously doubt you'll get a legal paper down here. Not until he's 18 at the very least. You can get one of those fake certificates easily, but it would be no good. Patience, grasshopper, it's the only way to go.

BTW, statutory rape is a crime here in Mexico as well. Woops.

why are you getting married? what ever it is, it's probably not a good idea. no matter how much you want to and don't think things will change they will. and they have for a huge amount of other young couples. at the very least, wait until he's old enough to help contribute to the household.

You'd be charged with stautory rape and no the marriage would not be legal as he is only 15, one has to be 18 years of age to marry legally in the U.S. or have parental consent. I figure if you're running away to Mexico you don't have his parent's consent. Have fun in prison.

You should definitely wait on this and not get married now.
You're very young, and if this relationship is meant to be, then it will still be a few years from now. Wait it out, and see if you still feel the same in a few years.

I'm not sure if it is legal. Probably not.

I do caution you to wait though. I was 20 and my husband was 23 when we got married and it wasn't easy. Waiting three years until you are both older and it is definately legal would be a better idea.

Oh dear God, you are disgusting.

Guess what? If you love someone enough to marry them, this means that you are going to HONOR and CHERISH them FOREVER. This means that, in three years, when he can DRIVE A CAR, you could marry him then, and still have ALLLLL this love that you have for him right now.

You may be of legal age, but don't destroy this kid's life because of your selfishness.

He can’t get married in Mexico at 15 without parental consent. So does he have parental consent?
