i am looking for a store in phoeinx that sells funky and modern furniture that is affordible.

CB2 is horribly expensive. Ikea is your best bet for modern at a reasonable price, although it's all a bit crappy looking in my opinion.

try cb2.com... they ship all over US. This is the "funkier" product line of Crate and Barrel.
