Did you know dave gilmour had a town house in london[near regents park canal or london zoo]i think he paid a million pound for it back in whenever,he donated it to a homeless charity [maybe shelter] for them to auction off and keep the proceeds! i never found out how much the house was sold for,but i see it when i cycle along the canal towpath,and i can tell you it sold for more than a million in todays money its luxurious to look at from outside,i bet it sold more like for £8-10million easy
but i think thats very typical of floyd supporting a good cause,greenpeace must be a lot better off with floyd on their side too,superb band,light show,you name it ,its the top of the range everything,including set designers,lighting technicians,any band you see nowdays with a good light set,you can recognise a floyd technician involved in it contracted out from pink floyd,they must be head hunted by todays bands,because there are no better techies than them worldwide,it doesnt get any better

Dogs and Sheep are both terrific songs, 9/10 in my opinion. I can always find time to listen to the Animals album. I cannot decide if I prefer Animals to The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon. And even Meddle and Wish You Were Here sometimes drift into contention for top Pink Floyd album status.

I have on my puter and on a DVD every album that they have ever put out in full. Been a Floyd fan since I seen the Dark Side of the Moon concert back in '74. That album stayed on the top 100 charts for over 10 years, fell off for 2 weeks and was back on. Think the wall is their best. On that album they are all good but my favorite is pigs.

At 20 I think I'm one of the youngest Floyd fans around. My personal favorite album is Wish You Were Here and I especially love Shine on You Crazy Diamond. But thanks for the link, I'm always up for some great PF.

and i totally agree
Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are tied for my favorite bands
and i love sheep
i can sit and listen to pink floyd for hours and never get tired of it
every fourth of july we do fireworks while we listen to pink floyd
sheep is definately one of my favorite songs

I love to listen to Animals all the way through. Good in the car when I know I won't be interrupted.
