Depends on the coins. Are they USA or foreign? Are they new, old, or collector's items? Are they in good condition, or very worn. What metal are they made of (gold is worth a lot more than zinc). Without a lot more detail, your question is not answerable.

If it is world coins they sell for $6 a pound and up plus postage. Few sell U.S. coins by the pound except for wheat cents. They prices there very a lot. See ads in Coin World or Numismatic News, they come out weekly and can be bought at coin shops.

it depends on the type of coins and the year they were made. obviously, a half dollar coin has more value then a penny. And the older a coin is, the more worth there is
