Okay, while typing this, I noticed this question was asked several months ago. I'm going to ask again anyway b/c I'm sure there are different people reading this now...

For a "Boy"

(I have 2 brothers, one's name is Ryan. The other is Joe and my 1st son has the middle name of Joseph.)
My hubby & I are having a very hard time deciding on a boy's name.

I wanted to go with John as the middle name (after my dad) but I'm not sure if Rylan John DeMarre sounds good together?

Personally, I had the name Connor picked out 2 years ago but my husband refuses. He hates it and I can't understand why. Our son is Aidan... what goes better with Aidan than Connor?!!!

I think that Rylan John DeMarre sounds ok, How often do you use a middle name anyway and John is one of those middle names that you cant go wrong with.

I like Rylan as a first name, Rylan and Aidan, They sound good together.

Sorry, I don't like Rylan. I love Ryan and John though. Rylan just doesn't sound right to me. It doesn't sound very masculine to me either. I think John Ryan DeMarre would make a great name though. You could call him John, Jack, Ryan, or use a double first name and call him John Ryan. Ryan John would be great as well.

Yes, I think it sounds good. However, I think Rylan Jonathon (variation of John) sounds better. Just a suggestion, and you've had some great suggestions so far. I don't think Rylan sounds feminine or too made-up. It's a solid name and more original and unique than Ryan (which is perfectly fine too but much more common). Best of luck, and congratulations!

I don't see why not. It's a bit different and not too far fetched. If you can have a boy named Ryan and a girl named Ryann these days what's offbeat about Rylan?

Personally, Rylan John, I don't like. I have this strange (can't even think of the word) dislike for names that end in similar sounds.
