my friends tell me to go to the bathroom and say bloody mary 6 times!is that true with bloody mary and candy man?

They're right - it's just one of those legends that started with someone with a fertile imagination. Because the people s/he did it to got so scared the thing spread like a disease. Mainly, I think, because we as a people enjoy being scared. Go figure lol!

If you go around believing what everyone tells you everyone will lie to you.
Bloody Mary is NOT real saying bloody mary 6 times in front of the mirror will only prove one thing.......you have been duped.
Yes it is just a legend ........
All legends are derrived from past stories and have gone down through generations and generations of people.
Its like in the Hispanic community........la llorona....which is like another version of bloody mary.
People HAVE died in some gruesome ways and those stories seem to stick around and build up on lies after lies. People keep adding things to these so called myths thats what makes them myths.......they are not even legends anymore because they don't remain original..
BUT do ghosts as well as other paranormal entities exist?
Well I can't exactly tell you that they do or they don't.....you must fromulate your own opinion and find the truth for yourself

Ye Bloody Mary is not a name of a person but the name of a cocktail drink with tomato cocktail in it. Candy man is a myth and as most people know Myths are normally derived from a tale that might have come into play based on a coincidences that may have accured many years ago. Not based on facts though..... Good luck

Bloody Mary.
While, I believe in many ghosts. However, this urban legend, is just that a legend. Bloody Mary is based off of the Queen of England Mary who killed protestants because she was catholic.

I don't know what this ghost of Bloody Mary is, but I heard of some similar thing when I was a kid. I would like to know the origin of this idea, too.

Yes. If you drive past her grave (at an unknown location) she hitch hikes in the trunk of you car as long as your within 15 miles of the grave. And if you turn around in front of a mirror 3 times chanting, "Bloody Mary!" a picture of her shows in the mirror and she calls up Lizzie Borden and they both come and kill you (w/ 2 axes). Creepy,no?
