Anyone of draft age can be called. There are certain situations where a deferment can be had but they are usually due to educational commitments or, their profession is vital to interests at home....

Being the youngest or the oldest has nothing to do with selection.

Yea, haven't you ever seen "Saving Private Ryan"? If you are the only male left in your family, you can't be drafted.
I wouldn't worry about a draft right now, though. The way this war is going, if Bush starts another draft, Americans will be rioting in the streets -- and I'll be driving the bus to Canada, you can ride with me.

You could be drafted. I've never even heard rumors about such a policy.

It has been military policy not to force the siblings of someone killed in combat to the front lines. They enacted these policies after some families were decimated during WWII.

You betcha. They can draft your entire male family. On occassion they will return a sole remaining son when all his brothers have been killed, but that is only a tradition. They are going to keep you before someone named Bush or Chenney gets drafted.
