You can get sick with Toxic Shock Syndrome, which you can die from if it is not treated immediately. If you get a sudden fever or a rash that looks like a sunburn, go to an ER.
You shouldn't need help from a doctor to get a tampon out. If you can't put a finger in yourself to see if the tampon is in or not, maybe you don't need to be using tampons again.

That's happened to me before. Wait til it's been in there for the normal time 3-4 hrs to ensure that it's saturated. Then sit on the potty and push like you're going potty. You might be able to push it to where a bit of it is sticking out. If not, you'll feel it pushing on you- yeah- you'll have to reach in and pull it out. Sorry! But- that's the only gross part- you WILL get it out. Don't worry.

Reach in there and see if you have one in there.
If you're unsure, go to the ob/gyn. Don't worry, on average an OB/GYN will see a patient with this exact problem about once per week. It's very common for the string to break off or for women to forget if it's still in there.

Yes you need to get help ASAP, if the tampon has been in there for too long, it could cause an infection, and make you sick. If you fuse help, yes there is a chance of the infection getting worse and being fatal. Please go see your doctor!

You can get very very sick. Try squatting down and pushing down a little bit with your vaginal muscles. You should be able to feel it coming down a little bit if it is in there. Don't be afraid to feel around in there either. You should be able to feel it with your finger, but definitely try the squatting tip if you can't get a hold of it with your finger.

Honestly, yes you can get sick, you can get TSS. You need to suck it up and stick a finger in there to find out if it is still in there. If it is, try to pull it out. If you cannot, go get help.

Yes, a tampon left in too long can lead to infection. You basically just need to reach in and pull it out. Gross, but don't leave it in. You can always go to your gynecologist if you are uncomfortable with removing it yourself.

uhh you could get sick if its been left in for more than 3-4 hours.check and make sure its out.you could get toxic shock syndrome and you could die from that.so if its not and you cant get it go to an ER or a clinic and they should help you.

you can reach all the way in and pull it out yourself
its not gonna be that far in.
and if u really cant get it .
then go to a clinc or to ur doc.
