Dotel got traded for Kyle Davies. Unless the Royals are just trying to free up some payroll I don't understand that trade. Davies was 4-8 this year with a 5.76 era and was sent ot the minors a couple weeks ago. Evidently Dayton knows something I don't (well, I'm sure he does) because I find it hard to believe that this was the best offer KC got for Dotel.

Atlanta got tired of Davies not being major league material in his head, couldn't keep leads. In his last Atlanta start, he pitched to 5 hitters, got no outs and was yanked. Dotel is great for the Braves, check his career stats, he can blow it by anybody. I like this deal better than the Texieria trade.
