Laws concerning employer/ tenant.?

My daughter has an employer whom she also rents a house from. Can the employer legally hold a paycheck for late electric bills or rent?

she needs to read the rental agreement she has with her employer

why would she not pay the bills and want to look like a deadbeat to her employer ?

Absolutely not! That is illegal as hell. The problem is if you get an attorney should would lose her job and home. I would recommend her finding other employment and then turn it over to the courts.
