There are NO pads for swimming. You'll just have a water soaked "diaper" in the pool with BLOOD coming out of you into the pool, which is VERY unsanitary.

It is either tampons, moon cup, diva cup, or NO swimming, period (pun intended).

TALK to your mom and ask WHY she doesn't want you to wear them. Let her know you CANNOT go into the water without a tampon.

Your flow does NOT stop or slow down in the water either, it is only dispersed too quickly for you to see.

There is no pad you can use for swimming. I understand why your mom doesn't want you to wear a tampon. My mom was the same way when I was young. My mom grew up in a foreign country...tampons are considered taboo unless you're married.

I was a swimmer growing up. Just skip the classes this week. That's what I did when I was young.

EDIT: Ahhh..so you're the teacher. Been there too! I just called in sick. If the kids you teach insist that you must teach them, find out if you can make up the week you miss now at the end of the session. So the kids you teach will be in class 1 extra week because they'll have this week off.

There are no pads for swimming. You should tell your mom how much it means to you. Or you could instruct them without actually getting into the pool, but that would be a last resort. I feel your pain, Im sorry but good luck.
