Hank Aaron is a well-respected gentleman and a hero to all baseball fans. Bonds is a braggart, cheater (lack of "proof" does not mean he didn't do it, and there IS a LOT of evidence that he DID), and a poor sport. Personally, I don't think Aaron has anything to be jealous about. Eventually the necessary proof of Bonds' juicing will come out, and the record will be negated anyway. The only reason it has not been proven is because the investigation is still ongoing. So if I were Aaron, I would not be jealous AND I would not support Bonds. He doesn't need to do either.

In grand jury testimony Bonds admitted that he used what he thought was flak-seed oil, which turned out to be the cream/clear, so there is proof...though he claims he was a victim of those helping him with his nutrition needs.

Aaron is an American Hero, a living legend, but his no comments as comments are very frustrating. Either come out and say Bonds is a cheater and liar or get to the stadium & be at home plate when he breaks the record.

What Aaron went through personally and with his family during his record-setting season-plus was hideous and indescribable. He - like many HOFs - need to get off the fence and speak out about the "steroid era" or don't be so critical without saying it.

I think if I was Hank Aaron I wouldnt support Bonds. I do believe that Barry has had some extra help in his career. He may not take a lot of roids but I do firmly believe he takes them. He is not deserving of the home run record and in my mind Hank Aaron will always be home run king.

NO!!!!
There might not be proof but the guy holding the record thats being passed by a "F"ing cheater doesn't need any. Plus...what do you want him to do follow Bonds around until he breaks the record so that they show Aaron on TV probably piised and crying and make him look like an asss hole?
He isn't selfish he's not doing ANYTHING wrong

Yes! Hank speaks as if he was in the training room injecting Bonds himself. I think Hammer is a big whiny baby. I'm a Braves fan too and I fell this way. I am not biased like some, just because Hank is a local hero. He would be mad if anybody broke the record. I just think Barry is just an easy target.

Yeah there wasn't any proof of steroid use except when he admitted to it...Hank Aaron is awesome for not supporting Bonds...I wish more people in the media would stand up and not support him. Hank isn't jealous of Bonds...he is pissed because he has to stand by and watch someone steal something that is rightfully his...how would you feel?
