"In the Still of the Night" was originally done by whom? And who did the doo-wop version in 1959. Extra consideration for the one who gives me the whole song.

Lyrics: In the still of the night as I gaze out of my window
At the moon in its flight, my thoughts all stray to you
In the still of the night while the world lies in slumber
Oh the times without number when I say to you
Do you love me, as I love you
Are you my life to be that dream come true
Or will this dream of mine will it fade way out of sight
Just like that moon growing dim, on the rim of the hill
In the still, still of the night.

Perry Como"s Version:
Lyrics:

( do you love me? do you love me? )

In the still of the night, as I gaze from my window,
At the moon in it's flight, my thoughts all stray to you . . .

In the still of the night, while the world is in slumber,
Oh the times without number, darling when I say to you,
Do you love me, as I love you?
Are you my life to be, my dreams come true? ( will you be my dream come true? )
Or, will this dream of mine fade out of sight?
Like the moon growing dim, on the rim of the hill,
In the chill, still of the night . . . ( do you love me? )

( do you love me? )

In the still of the night . . .

"In The Still of the Night" by the Five Satins is the "do-wop" song. Boyz II Men did the cover. But it is not the same song as the one done by Whitensnake by the same name.

I think Billy "Mr. B" Eckstine did a phenomenal version

"( do you love me? do you love me?

Like the moon growing dim, on the rim of the hill,
In the chill, still of the night . . . ( do you love me? )

( do you love me? )

In the still of the night . . ."
