Does anybody know if you need to have some sort of license to import for a home aquarium a black tip reef shark?

Im looking to buy one but can only find them available to buy from America but im not sure if theres any type of law on this

it amuses me that people seem to jump to conclusion all the time.
I have a 30ft marine aquarium fully equiped to house a reef shark im only asking for advice on license laws not care advice

I would suggest you contact the public aquarium closest to you with your question. After all, unless you have a tank of tens of thousands of gallons and are extremely well educated in their care, that's where it will end up in a few months at best. Sharks certainly aren't for home aquaria.

They really don't live long in captivity and need to be in the wild or in a professional aquarium.

I dont know try checking with the RSPCA or asking a local aquarium or checking with somebody that deals with tropical fish

30 ft by what? a tank is more than one demension.

they are restricted animals and they do require paperwork to be filed in order for them to be legal. if you either don't get paperwork or it can't be verified then you have an illegal shark.
heavy fines and possible jail time.
