There can be no purpose in our living, no meaning and no point to our existence unless there is a God who created us. However, without God, we can still have the illusion of all those things and by that I mean we can have feelings of self worth. Sorry, but no meaning behind the feelings.
We can't make our own meaning but we can create the illusion.

The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is as follows (and pay close attention, as you won't want to miss this):
42.
The real problem is, what is the Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything? Once that is discovered we'll all be okay.

To find the truth that defines you. It will be different for everyone so don't make the mistake of comparing your dreams and hopes with others. You are an individual.
