Does that 3 or 5 second rule apply to you??

Not to me...once it's on the floor, it's in the garbage!

If it's at my house I eat it because I figure like this...My floors are always clean. I vacuum probably 3 or 4 times a day, and I mop my kitchen every day. So I know it's clean, and whatever little bit of dirt might be on the floor hasn't killed my kids yet, so it should be okay for me. But only within the time limits of the 5 second rule.

*edit* I have no animals to track extra dirt or fur, and if I'm at a restaurant or anyone else's house I don't.

Yep 3 second rule, except if you drop it outside or in a visible dirty floor, then it's just nasty.

I used to as a kid - if I dropped something on the floor at home. I wouldn't any more, though.

Depends on what the food it is. If it's like candy or something that wouldn't gather dirt on it, then I'll eat it. If it's like ice cream or something, probably not.

I have cats and I know where their paws have been so if something touches my floor, it might as well have been in the litter box, eeeww!
