Just curious - is there any kind of public record about this kind of information? How much they have in their bank accounts, what they filed in 2006/2005/2004...?

Bush's salary is $400,000/year plus what he earns from his various investments. Cheney's salary is slightly less (which he mostly donates to charity) plus his various investments. If your implication is they have been embezzling money, that doesn't rate serious consideration. Their finances are too transparent for such things. Besides, that would be a felony and then the left wing loons would actually have something to impeach them for.

Their bank accounts have the same privacy rules as yours does. If they are suspected of wrong doing, a warrant can be issued for law enforcement to inspect their financial records. You'd better believe that if there was a hint of skull-duggery, the Dems in Congress would pounce on it like a duck on a junebug (whether it was true or not).

The news media usually releases data concerning the President & Vice President income's around April 16th after income taxes are due, there might be stories online related to that, if you know where to look.

Their respective earnings and tax returns are a matter of public record.

I am assuming you're insinuating that they have unearned income hiding somewhere?

In this day of scrutiny, i seriously doubt that would be possible.

Yes. The media publishes their tax returns every year. Make sure you note how much they have given to charity. Then, for kicks and giggles, compare it to how much popular Democrats have given to charity by comparison, such as Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Dick Cheney is one of the most generous people in our government. You wouldn't know that from the smearing he gets from the media.

It is important to note who gives, and who talks.

I would think that the freedom of information act would apply to those clowns, so you might start by filing for the info by those means. otherwise I would find out where their holdings are and start dating one of the ladies at that business and use your imagination. Sounds flippant but it's not unheard of.

Tax returns do NOT reflect their rise in stocks (unless they liquidate their stocks turning them into personal income).

Cheney's stock in Haliburton, as reported in many news articles last month, went up 3000% last year alone. Bush's "holdings" are in Saudi Arabia so they don't even reach the ears of the US population.
