If you have leftovers, that are perfectly good at the end of the meal, you feel guilty just throwing it in the trash (remember the starving children in China your mom mentioned). Tupperware came up with the idea of storage containers for the leftovers. Now they advertised it as a convenient way to store leftovers and keep them fresh. In reality, the purpose of those little plastic coffins is to keep food until it gets moldy enough that you don't feel guilty about throwing it away!

Sweetie ... clearly by looking at your green complexion you are stating the obvious ...you've consumed so much bacteria & fungus it has dyed your wool.

Because I care about you you I want you to toss out every thing after one day ....its summertime after all. Except you can keep apples for 7 days .... I know how much you like the apples.

It depends on the type of food. If it's dairy, or has dairy in it, I wouldn't save it too long. Veggies are good for a while, 'till they start growing stuff. Pasta, ehhh, be cautious.

Things have dates on them. About a week after that date, you throw it out.

You look a little green. Maybe you should throw stuff out sooner than you do.

I have no idea, my diet consists entirely of orange soda and marshmallows, those aren't very perishable.
