Because hairy guys are more confident and successful, statistics have shown. If bearded men make (on average) 8,500 a year more and enjoy a higher quality of life than their shaven counterparts, then imagine how cool/smart/popular/talented having a full body pelt would make you.

you get supernatural powers with transforming into a warewolf or a vampire the popularity issue thats a different point it depends on the people around these transformed people.

The wolves agility and strength would definently help in athletics but as for popularity, I doubt it.
