What would be some good tank mates with 4 german rams (2 female and 2 male) im thinking a red tailed shark and a gold gourimi and 3 bloodfin tetras ( the tank is a well planted and hiding places for them all)

I would avoid the shark simply because they get fairly large and are bottom dwellers that might give the rams a hard time. The only bottom fish I would suggest to go with the rams would be cory catfish. The other fish you mention will stay up off the bottom most of the time and out of the rams way. Remember: Rams are shy retiring fish that don't like a lot of activity in their tank.

I wouldn't recommend the shark because the grow fairly large and they are semi-aggressive. Once they establish a territory, they won't let anyone else in it.
The Gold Gourami might grow a little too big for the rams and will bully them eventually. 4 Bloodfin Tetras would be the best bet because they are fairly small and have a very small chance of getting bullied/bullying.

You have got enough in there at the moment. The rams can be aggresive..gold gouramies can be aggresive..red tail shark is aggresive. You could add a few more BF tetras but if any of the BF tetras die.....take them out.

Hi, I would try some cardinal tetras, Cory catfish, some cherry barbs, or dwarf honey gouriumi, and maybe some rummy noises. I would also include some small caves for the German blue rams.
