MORE!!!! fantasy football gives people a reason to watch the teams they don't follow. If i have Jamal Lewis on my fantasy team, it gives me somethin to cheer for, even though im watching the cleveland browns play.
For example, I can't stand the redskins. But last season one of my fantasy teams had ladel betts. I was hoping ladel betts put up 150 yrds, 1+ td's........ but in a losing effort.
Another example.... I'm a GREEN BAY fan.... i had Chicago's Defense. Both times we played chicago, i wanted us to win with a score of somethin like 3-0 or maybe 6 -0... u know... a low scoring game. This backfired on me however in week one, when green bay got shut out by the bears... it helped my fantasy team tremendously, but hurt my heart as a green bay fan.... gotta love fantasy football!!!!!!!!!!

It makes it a little better to watch teh games. Not only do you watch for your team, you watch for specific players.
If the game on is Miami at Clevland who the hell cares. But if you have Ronnie Brown on your team, suddenly you have a reason to get into the game.

It helps because you can watch any team not just your favorite. Plus it got my wife into watching football and being a fantasy addict. Every Sunday we look to see what games are being televised and immediately look to see what players we will have playing in them so we will know who to look for.

I think it makes me enjoy it more. Now instead of just caring about the Rams and the Chargers (don't laugh), I care about every game, so I end up watching ALL day Sunday and Monday night.

I don't let it get in the way of my rooting for my team. I want my favorite team to win the game, I don't care if it ruins my fantasy team

More. I would watch anyway, but when I have "action," it's a lot more exciting.
