Labor contractions tend to move. They start in your lower back, come around under your belly, like your pelvis area, and then spread over your belly.
They very well could be contractions. But I would honestly sit tight until you lose your plug or break your water, or they get to be sooo intense that you cant walk through them.
If theyre not contractions theyre just the pain from the pressure of the uterus. Lower back pain and pain in your pelvis is sooo common for where you are. Your sciatic nerve is right where the baby lays when engaged in the pelvis, and it can cause all sorts of dull and shooting pains.
You'll have an exam coming up if you're due tomorrow, have them check your cervix to see how dilated you are.
Try to avoid rushing to the hospital, laboring at home is endlessly more comfortable.

It is possible that you are having contractions. Some contractions early in labor feel like cramps or like you have to have a bowl movement. Everyone and every pregnancy is a little different. With my first I had no idea I was having contractions I just thought I had to go the bathroom. I was a week late and getting hooked up at the hospital for them to enduse me and the nurse said I was having contractions. I was surprised. My third, I had contractions off and on for what seemed like forever. The doctor told me to drink more water because I was dehydrated and that was why I was having false contractions. With my second, I knew when it was time to go. Nothing false about those contractions. It is hard to say sometimes what is real or not. Just keep your doctor informed. Your body is telling you that it is preparing for what is to come. Good luck.

It might be contractions! I had back labor.. extreme back pain and cramps. This is what it sounds like. Call your doctor right now.. I promise you that they will tell you to go to the hospital.
You are due tomorrow.. if the pain gets worse, you may soon be having a little one!
I didnt lose my mucus plug either, but my water broke.

I never lost the mucus plug with my son (only one born vaginally). If you have tried timing the pains and they are equally spaced then yes they are contractions. Also if you have noticed that they are lasting longer then you might want to call your doctor or midwife and ask for a quick check-up.

This is naturall because the baby is pressind on the nerves and muscles, when you feel water run down your legs you will no your water broke, contractions will last a whole lot longer at each time.

Take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, the symptoms that you are having sounds like a STD called Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PVD). If this is the answer, then you need to immediately get treated because this disease can cause women to be sterile if not treated. GOOD LUCK!

It ain't too far. Congrats in advance..
My wife started that when we were out for a movie. She was complaining about her back watching Robin Hood in the theatre in 1991. about 48 hours later she was getting the PIT drip and our son came soon after.
