Do you think they'd be proud we pass laws dictating where people can smoke? Or what kinds of food they can eat?
& what about "the right to bear arms"?

If continue to tear at the fabric of our founding principles don't be surprised when the whole thing becomes unraveled!

I've always said that the easiest way to solve our energy problems would be to dig up the founding fathers and secure a long magnet to each skeleton. Then wrap the casket in copper wire before reburying them. The constant spinning would generate gigawatts of electricity!

Based on most analysis -- the right to bear arms was only ever intended to protect against federal intrusion -- not against state regulation -- so I suspect they wouldn't have any problem there.

Their biggest objection I feel is the way we've taken "necessary and proper" and turned it to mean "anything even vaguely related to any degree". Or the way we've almost entirely thrown out the 10th Amendment.

Nope.

I think it is funny how most people who are in favor of regulating every bit of our lives to the type of food, cars we drive, where and went we can smoke, etc etc.

Don't even want to touch abortion and have it regulated.

Kind of hypocritical in my book.
