ive never been to new orleans, but my tax money paid the welfare that 48% of them were on, and that bought the houses that they lost in the hurricane, and now 2 years later, my tax money is still paying for motels and apartments for the ones that wont get jobs because they are "victims" and they need our love and support,so doesnt that kinda make me a katrina victim too

if you have a job, pay your own bills, then im not talking to you, get over it, its been over two years, how long does it take to get back on your feet, forever if youre lazy, and have a "victim" mentality, people die every day, and the people around them get over it, move on, get a job, provide for yourself, be a useful citizen,

I am a Katrina victim. I lived in the Garden District up until Katrina hit....then we moved to Ruston, LA. But all of the lower ninth ward people raided and destroyed the Garden District, so its a good thing we decided to move everything...but my childhood home was destroyed and I cannot believe you have the nerve to get on here and say that you are a victim only because some of your tax money paid for the relief houses. Thank you soo much for being a capital as'shole.
AND NO IT DOESNT MAKE YOU A KATRINA VICTIM you have no clue what we all went through...you dont know what it is like to see your hometown ripped to shreds by nature and looters...i have seen dead people floating through the city, and I have seen black people loot stores and steal TVs and other unnecessary items....it was a horrible time in my life, but of course you wouldnt know that because you have never been to New Orleans.

BI'TCH below me...shut the ffuck up because you werent even born in New Orleans and I know white people and mexican people looted as well, but they were taking items like food, tp, water...etc...the blacks were taking TVs, vacuum cleaners, and dvd players and other things that do not provide survival....so dont sit on your dildo and tell me that I am going to hell. youre probably just making all that shi't up just for attention...im not passing judgment on anyone...perhaps you..i can see that you are an over-zealous b'itch, who wants people to see everything through her eyes, a person who can't let people express themselves, and youre a dumbass who're that has no clue what it feels like to have to tread through sewage water filled with dead bodies and dead babies to get to their home...we had to go back because we had other things to get out of the garden district home. so go f'uck yourself

bring it b'itch i will be in Laguna Beach at the very beginning of September...and I have no clue why my email is blocked, i have no clue how to change, nor do i care. if you can tell me that would be great

Of course there will be many people who will milk the situation for all it's worth, you’re not wrong there. People who screwed the welfare system for years will undoubtedly take full advantage of the 'victim' status.
Your tax money pays for all kinds of stuff that might seem unfair but imagine what the cost to Society would really be if we were allowed to choose where our tax money was spent?

Katrina victim: ( 1 ): A working, tax-paying home owner and/or business owner whos property sustained damage or was destroyed to matchsticks by the historic disaster known as Hurrican Katrina. ( 2 ): Any and all WORKING, tax-paying, productive citizens--living IN and / or OUTSIDE Katrina affected area(s), who have to pay highly inflated tax and/or insurance rates to cover and pay for those who claim property victimization via Katrina--but hold NO form(s) of insurance.

Note: NOLA ghetto housing project residency does NOT fit the Katrina victim definition. They never owned anything and for years, defrauded the welfare/living assistance program(s). In my view, they're people to bid good riddance to find another state to leech welfare $$$$ from and pick up their illegal drug selling elsewhere. They deserve the stereotypical images given.

And today, Federal Courts sided with insurance companies, saying they can tell those with Katrina/flood insurance claims to "talk to the hand....and get out!!". Insurance comapnies now DO NOT have to cut checks out for Katrina flood insurance claims in NOLA!!! Citing insurance policies do NOT cover levee breakages (act of man, not God).

Note: 80% of NOLA Katrina flooding was caused by levee breakages. I can see the onflood on lawsuits aimed at NOLA now......
