Is it possible to give away knowledge? I don't believe so. It may be possible to give away books, papers, files, etc. But knowledge is something that must be found for yourself and wisdom only comes after knowledge. Any thoughts?

How can we give away knowledge, when it's all just something we already know and are only revealing to ourselves? After all, if this collective consciousness is a real thing, then we are God and we all know the same thing; only separated by illusions by our own choices... We're unlocking the doors to the truth of who we really are!

What do you think?

In the business world, they call knowledge "intellectual property" and it is often valued very highly.

Consultants get paid in exchange for giving away knowledge.

Everyone is ignorant, just about different subjects. This ignorance creates a market, transforming knowledge into a commodity in the world.

Wisdom comes from the application of knowledge, but most often only through direct experience.

I think knowledge can be found anywhere. It is the experiencing of knowledge that turns it into wisdom. This is the big difference between 'belief' and 'knowing'. Belief is to 'lie beside, take on as true, a piece of information from another without actually experiencing it.'
To 'know' is to have first hand experience of a piece of information which gives us wisdom.
"I haven't been in the water but I believe it is cold."
"I've been in the water and I KNOW it is cold!" Wisdom

There is such a thing as inherent knowledge. You cannot give it away but can share it. If the person you give it to applies that knowledge, it becomes wisdom for them.

we all have wisdom and knowledge and the wisdom and knowledge I have am willing to share with others in exchange for them sharing their wisdom and knowledge with me. we are not in reality " giving away " our wisdom and knowledge but sharing with others so we can ALL gain from this sharing process.
