It's only illegal if you get caught. Stay low for a month and then when your 18, don't sweat it anymore. But don't get anyone in trouble because if you stay with someone and your mom calls the cops they can get busted for harboring a runaway.

There are alot of problems with running away. 1. you will have a hard time finding a job that makes enough money to support you .2. you will not be able to get an apartment until your 18. 3.Your mother can rbing you back. And yes if someone helps you run away they can get in trouble. the seriously best thing to do is call child services or call up your case worker that worked with you when you were taken away. When they see that you were taken away before they'll take you out and put you in a group home until you turn 18. Do you have any friends whos parents would let you stay with them if they understood the situation? good luck, and no you don't need to be staying in this enviroment. learn from your mothers mistakes and never make them

If someone helps you, yes, they will get into trouble, if they are found out.
Wait one more month until you turn 18. You endured and suffered this much. You are very strong to stay, and you need to be strong for one more month.
Where will you go? What will you do?
Look up kidshelpphone.com or call 1800 668 6868.
They will help you.
You don't want to turn out like your mother. Life on the streets is very brutal. It can be a sharp and rude awakening. Make sure you have where to go, and that you don't have to sleep with people as favors.

This is such a common misconception. You can do whatever you want once you reach the age of consent. In most states, this is at age 16 but in some as young as 12 or 14. The only thing you cannot do is sign contracts - that is - get your own lease.

Social Services might take you away for a month, but if you're turning 18 so soon then it's worth it. I'd reccomend you go live with a friend, where u can stay anonymous for a month.
-I wish you the best of luck

I suppose so, but no contract you sign will be valid until your 18th birthday when you reach the age of majority.
Contracts with minors are invalid.

You might get away with running away from your problems or you could call CPS and do the right thing.
