If they aren't then why is it that you never hear anything about the North American Union between Mexico, Canada and the USA in the news? There are plenty of government documents which prove this is what they are doing...so why isn't it on the main news?

This isn't Democrat or Republican either because they are both in on this. It is the elite corporations who are pushing for this to happen...and WHO controls the media? Not the common man, that is for sure.

David...if you are going to make snide comments, then, please, at least back them up and not just your opinion on the question.

Absolutely yes! It is all controlled, and the majority of media sources are owned by one man, Rupert Murdoch, thus giving a 'uniform' reporting of events with one spin placed on them. How do I know this? I watch Sky News Australia and it flicks over to UK & NZ news regularly. During these bulletins, they often replay the same news clips as each other but with different presenters, and the report is VERBATIM.(For David's on the site, that means word for word) Why would different countries presenters be in 'unison' with others around the globe? Because it is all controlled media and written by one source to give the story as they THINK it should be viewed - there can be no other reason. Even the 1/2 baked jokes to the clip are word for word too.
Media control - 9/11. How is it ok for the world to see planes hit both towers, and watch them collapse, but we can not see a plane hit the Pentagon? The image had already been planted from seeing the towers struck, so if they say the pentagon was hit by another plane, it must have happened...mustn't it?
The North American Union is being significantly overlooked because if it were fully exposed, there could very well be uproar. Keep watching the 'news' and you will continue to see little 'softeners' so that it is gradually introduced as being a good idea, then BANG! It will be agreed and there will be nothing that can be done. If America is doing so well, as the media would have us believe round the globe, why is there are a need to drop borders anyway?
More disturbing are the reports that news coming out of Iraq, and broadcast in Iraq is being written and controlled by US spin doctor's...just great that is...we'll give you your freedom, but we'll tell you what to say! Zieg Heil.
Yes, the media is controlling our minds and using a forum to do so that 99% of the population use daily. We aren't seeing news, we are merely seeing what govt officials want us to see, and if anyone speaks out against it, they are either a terrorist, a communist, a madman, an ignorant sh1t, or just favouring liberals or democrats...wake up people and use the old history philosophy; Who, what, why, when & where.
Who produced the news...
Why was it released...
Where was is released...(Significance should not be underestimated)
When was it was released....
What did the news/release hope to achieve..

Human emotion is so easily predictable that unless you strip it down to the very basic thought process, a lot of things go undetected, and this is how you control the masses who do not ask questions...EG David and his abusive response...

Yes! Just like their 'unbiased' polls. The least desired presidential candidates are always in your face at every turn. Other polls like this show Ron Paul in the lead.

People need to vote on the actual issues, not empty promises. Here is how each candidate stands on the issues.

If we don't vote for someone against amnesty for illegals, the next presidential election could be a vote to end the United States as we know it today. We would become the Americas in the North American Union. Our great country would be the same as a state across the continent - our Constitution wouldn't exist, our right to bear arms gone, freedom of speech gone. Our lawless land would become like Mexico - taxed to death and ruled by a dictator.

Read Plato's Republic and read his Shadow's in the Cave analogy. Now take into account that he wrote this some 3000 years ago. In the analogy, Plato tells of a group of people who have been held captive, chained, in a cave their entire lives, facing a blank wall. They cannot turn, only face the blank wall. Te people watch the shadows projected onto the wall by things passing in front of a fire behind them - these shadows moving become their reality. But one day, one of the captives loses his chains, and he is able to turn from the wall and see the fire behind him - he is able to see the true reality, that the shadows were just shadows and not reality. But he is struck fearful by reality, and instead tries to turn his gaze back toward the shadows. But suppose someone forcibly dragged the man upward, out of the cave, into the sunlight of reality, wouldn't be be distressed? Would he accept reality? Now, 3000 years on, I see this as a perfect analogy for how the media controls us through television. So many people live their lives through television, accepting it as reality, and refusing to accept the real, true reality which is uncontrolled by the television and by the media, even though many people try and enlighten them to the truth.

It isn't mind control. The big business leaders are having negotiations to expand their markets, and they don't want us idiot's mucking it up by having any idea or independant thought about how it effects us, and then potentially protesting it. For instance, my local newspaper wouldn't print a letter to the editor about the SPP and NAU meeting in August, in fact there is no news anywhere. And the only info was today by a man who briefly slammed a citizen group who is against it. As it turns out, the newspaper is owned (along with big media), by the Thomson family (worth 10 billion $), who want to expand into the US, and I guess (my own 2 cents) they're willing to sell all us Canadians out to further their own interests. (This family is bigger than Rupert Murdoch). Anyways, it isn't mind control, its distraction and deception, because the billionaires are playing "world domination" for a few more dollars. Remember that when you're reading about Iraqi car bombs, Lindsay Lohan, and debating gay marriage. The real politics is what you're not being told

I can't watch the YouTube video from work, but I know the media uses mind control on us. The most basic form of mind control is repitition. Whatever they say three times most people will take as fact.

The North American Union is real, it is not a conspiracy theory. If you want to know how treasonous the media is, take a look at this Seattle Times article where they compare the North American Union to aliens, black helicoptors and

Perhaps if enough people write letters to the editor and make a big deal out of it with the media there might be some news out of it. The media doesn't give what they think people aren't interested in. Get people interested and asking questions of the media and you bet they will put on stories about it ad nauseum.

i have been reading a lot about this also and have some grave concerns, mostly that it is going under the wire and most know nothing about it, NATFA was the first step and look how well that has worked for the average american citizen.

it will make us like the EU and have one legal currency, i fear that it is another step in the demise of America as we know it.

Soros is a big support and i bet has spent mega millions to get this enacted.

under the guise of helping trade, it sounds good but i think there is more at stake here..so i will read more on it to try and glean the truth about the agenda behind it.

Agreed. There is a pervasive set of filters operating in mass media, that ensures no challenge to the state-corporate nexus that owns the society. The media parades itself as a "watchdog" of power, yet is owned by those whom it is intended to report on. The media is owned by about 5 or 6 conglomerates that shape public perception on order to facilitate the interests of the ruling class, one of which is the so-called "free-trade" agreement which extracts wealth from Mexico.

Yes. They are controlling what information to expose or not to expose to the people. Very interesting about the North American Union. I first heard about this over 10 years ago but I couldn't find much info on it so I thought it was a myth until recently.

Thanks for the links.

Selective coverage is more like it.
If you know about NAU, then all the things like letting illegals in, demoralizing border guards,
the amnesty bill, etc start to make sense.
I heard it mentioned once on tv so far-by Glen Beck.
This is a major threat to our constitutional democracy and most people are ovbliviuos to that fact.
Unfortunately, vigilance has been replaced by narcissism and apathy and that will spell the demise of our great nation.
