The way they ended 300 do you think they'll make a sequel? Do you think they should make sequel? Possible titles? Possible story plots?

If you paid attention at the end of the movie, the 40,000 greeks were about to fight the persians again.... a year after the battle were leonidus died....yeah it was based on a historical event but they could make a sequel based on the battle the movie ended on and the after effects on the persian empire and the spartans....... duh....

well dude its based roughly on historical battles in Greece. THAT REALLY HAPPENED. 300 against like a 10,000 Persians. well they were like a 1000 Thespians. F the facts though. there was another final battle they didnt show (remember in the end?). in that battle Greece united as one nation and won. its up to hollywood to make a movie after it.

300 is an actual historical story (albeit greatly embellished), I don't think they would make up history just to continue the story. It really wasn't the story of Spartans that people really came to see, but 300 brave soldiers who stood against a much larger force. The battle which follows this on which the movie closes the Battle of Plataea, was considered to a be a slaughter, with Greek destroying the Persian force, which isn't nearly as dramatic as Thermopylae.
Also the movie was directed by Frank Miller and is based of the comic book 300 which he also wrote. If he didn't think his book needed a sequel I doubt he will think the movie does.
However Frank Miller does intend to make 2 sequels for his other film Sin City. He had always intended to make three films in order to cover all 9 of his Sin City books which he wrote.

There's no reason to make a sequel. It was based on a historical event. The story was told. It ended the way it ended. There will be retellings of the story in the future, but not sequels.

mabey, like since they didnt show the battle between the 10,000 men and the persians mabey they'll make another one called " the 10,000"

there can't be a sequel, leonidas is dead. 300 is a story based on a real event.
