The original 70's Rock version is Ram Jam, the newer one with the stupid banjo interludes and the guy who sounds like an ignorant redneck is the awful Spiderbait, made famous on the terrible Dukes of Hazzard remake movie.

It's on the Dukes of Hazzard soundtrack - I believe it's by Ram Jam; my cousins have the cd, I just love the song!
