nope, there currently aren't any pc's faster than the mac pro quad, but you can build one yourself.

Yeah. Carbonfrost Systems builds them. I think they call it the Vienna MOD under their Opus Series and its a monster. I have been considering it for some time but waiting for back to school sale.
And compared to the MAC PRO, its definitely more affordable.

no the mac pro is the cheapest workstation with those specs. workstations are anything but cheap.
