u are quite correct to say we can leviate and scientists hav even done this but in your case it does not seem possible bcoz for leviation u neet quite big mangets which u can find only in big research labs. in saying so i donot mean the size but the magnetic strengh of the magnet. in that case u can get some big coil from ur school lab use it as an electromagnet and show people by leviating frogs. mind frog does not feels bad bcoz for the frog its like swimming in water itself it does not hurt it at all. you can try this singlehandedly. best of luck for ur show

confident you may, yet you will no longer have the potential to make a superb levitation gadget using basically everlasting magnets. there is a few thing referred to as Earnshaw's Theorem (named after the guy who got here across it approximately one hundred fifty years in the past) which says that's impossible. you may "cheat" with the help of having some restraining partitions or some thing comparable, yet you lose the certainty that there is not any friction on the automobile, so there is not any longer plenty benefit over basically having wheels. any incorrect way is to apply electromagnets with an electric powered administration gadget. You sense any flow of the automobile and alter the present in the magnets to maintain it the place it particularly is meant to be. it particularly is the way genuine maglev trains and so on artwork. construction a working form of a maglev gadget could be a superb college-point challenge, although this is way too tricky for a college technology challenge. in school point, you haven't any longer discovered adequate maths yet to understand the belief.

Magnetic levitation has been already developped and Used.
Presently France and other countries in the Union have trains which are able to move at very high velocity because they are using magnetic levitation.(chedk TGV)

You can levitate using magnets. The problem with doing a show using the kind of magnetic strength you would need is you have a chance of ripping fillings out of the teeth of your audience.

I don't know what magazine I saw this in, but someone has invented a levitating BED! MMMM... just think of the possibilities!!!
Maybe I was just dreaming it up?
Good luck.

You can, there are trains which levitate using electromagnets.
I do not think is safe to try, neither easy.

You would need VERY strong magnets. So strong, in fact, that you would be totally unable to hold them in the correct orientation, and they would be ripped from your hands, flipping over in the air and sticking to the magnets in the floor.
In other words, you can't.
