My first job: I worked at Pizza Hut! I worked there for almost a year, but I had to quit because the manager hung up on my dad, and then I went to work at Chili's it was the best! I loved working there. At Pizza Hut, I think I made $6.50. Now I work at the Hangar Hotel. And right now there is the freaking helicopter right outside of the window and it is driving me crazy! But I love working here!

My first job was as an x-ray clerk in a doctors' office making $7 an hour. I sat in a very small, very dusty x-ray file room all day long going through literally 10,000 files and throwing away all the x-rays from before '97. It was alright for what I was getting paid!

First real tax paying job was landscaping (no, not mowing lawns)- trenching, sprinklers, sod, fountains, rocking, concrete, and i even built a brick bbq (which the boss took credit for). Did it between junior and senior year of high school. Paid $5.75 / hour. Did i like it??? The work was fun but the company was crappy.

Air Force. Paid a princely sum of ZAR 0.50 per day. Loved it as I spent most of my time, on my own, guarding helicopters out in the bush (somewhere) where there was much fauna and flora to study.... the picturesque setting was an absolute bonus.

My very, very first job was a newspaper carrier. I earned about $30 a week. I enjoyed it at first, but it got very old when the snow flew!

My very first job was pet-sitting; and yeah, depending on who I worked for and for how long, I got paid pretty well. (Course they're also my neighbors and we're really good friends.) I loved it! Now I work in a B&B and get paid pretty decent. I like that, too - not as much as pet sitting, but, you can't always have life your way!

I was a sales associate at large retail store in the mall (Kaufman's). It paid 5.00 and hour. It was alright, but some of the older bitches that had been there for years thought they could push the new blood around.
