Consumer Confidence Hits 6-Year High

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8QNM25O0&show_article=1'

The 2001 and 2003 tax reductions have spurred more than five years of uninterrupted growth. The economy grew at a robust 3.4 percent in the second quarter of 2007. Productivity growth has averaged 2.8 percent since 2001, considerably above the average of each of the past three decades. Since August 2003, our economy has created more than 8.2 million jobs, and the current unemployment rate is a VERY VERY low 4.5 percent, lower than the averages of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Wages have been on the rise, and real after-tax income is up 9.9 percent since President Bush took office, an average of nearly $3,000 per person.

Exciting News, way to hot for the liberals like the responses your going to get. Have no fear though, Hillary will cool it down when she starts her dictatorship.

Edit: The guys paying 5 bucks for milk, buy beer, it's only 10.89 a case. By the way, I am only paying 3.29 for milk.

I am happier under the bush economy. Now I can buy computers less than $500, enjoy tax breaks, and low interest rates. Now I can afford college and get all kinds of benefits when I go to the military while gaining job experience instead pushing k-mart buggies. Dont forget how high the stocks went. Milk is an uncontrollable factor due to weather conditions and whoever blames bush for that needs to get some serious mental help. Not only our economy is rising but Iraq, Canada, and Mexico economy. Bush has a better legacy than Clinton dealing with economy. Unlike Clinton, Bush likes to selflessly give to many other countries instead of giving money to bums who cant even TRY to get a jobs.

Thank You Bush

Its hot but not as hot as you! It is so hot that the Chi Guy and others on the left do not understand that when you put you hand in the fire you get burnt. And seeing they live off of mommy they will never know just how hot. It is so hot the left and I hate to say with some on the right want to give amnesty to many illegal aliens who would benefit some sectors of the business economy but hurt others. Also this is why unions want the low income workers in the hope of finding new members to fill their almost extinct ranks due to the much higher free market jobs that produce higher earners out of compotation. Many people have ventured out on their own and created new jobs and found it much more rewarding on all levels. I like the fact that you still so much debate with solid info as this drives the left crazy when confronted with the truth. xo

Something tells me you have never had to work or pay for anything yourself. If you had you would realize just how wrong you are. The economy is hot for the rich but not the poor or the middle class.I bet daddy picks up the tab for everything. Good for you! You are a true right winger! Let somebody else do the hard work while you reap the benefits. Typical. And those jobs that were added pay only minimum wage with no benefits, like healthcare. In fact, why don't you become independant from daddy and get a job at the local taco stand for 6 mos and I bet you will be right back at home looking for handouts from good ol' dad.

That's true, however part of the growth over the last 2 years must be attributed to the growth in the overall world markets. We now need to think of how to let this growth continue. One problem is the dollar has been devalued, we desperately need to fix this. A related issue is trade deficits desperately need to be fixed. Then you have the ever present national deficit and energy crisis. The Bush tax cuts have done well for us but we need to focus on keeping this momentum going.

EDIT: Someone here reported BlueRidgeLiving without good reason. We should be willing to listen to everyone who has sources listed.

It's so hot it's burning the bottom 99 percent. Wages have gone down in relation to inflation under every President since the Nixon/Ford term began. Including Bush. With one exception: Bill Clinton, who understood economics is about the bottom 99 percent more than it's about the top 1 percent.

So, 8.2 million jobs since August '03? That means 5.2 million since January '01, because your boy's crazy harebrained tax scheme cost us 3 million. And those new jobs, which are not even keeping pace with population growth -- through births and immigration, legal or otherwise -- are paying less on the average than the ones those people lost. And when the economy posted 3.4 percent growth in some quarters under Clinton, right-wingers like you called it "anemic growth."

Next time, don't go to the paleoconservative National Review for your economic thinking. It's not very economical, and it's not much thinking.

As a Canadian I say I am quite enjoying the bush economy. With the bottom falling out of the housing market there I have been able to pick myself up a few investment properties and not have to worry about the exchange, that and they were a phenomenal dea.

Secondly, with the Canadian and American dollar almost at par, importing goods for resale in Canada is ideal, as America has a cheaper workforce, and thus cheaper goods.
Times are good. I am making a fortune.

Yes,

Economic growth with out fiscal responsibility is causing the mathematically ignorant to over extend and take risks that don't always pay off.

( Like what is happening in the housing market, and those with the interest only loans )

Happy days are here again. Oh yea.

For Libs it is depression time. Love it.
Hold tight of your wallet to them it means higher taxes the old Robin hood approach. Only they keep it and promise the poor to give it them.

People can't even buy milk anymore because it's over $5 a gallon.

Try working a $6.00 and hour job while paying $3.00 for a gallon a gas and I'll bet you'll change your tune!

You don't speak for the majority!!
