Your bunny probably has an abscess caused from the bite. This happens often when animals or even people are bitten. A bite is a puncture and when the teeth are extracted they leave behind bacteria which gets trapped when the tissue closes around it.
Your bunny should see a vet so the abscess can be opened and drained. If it is open and draining already, be sure to keep it open so it may drain. You can do this by warm packing it with a warm damp cloth. Hold it over the abscess to lossen up the scabs. It also helps to mix in Betadine with the water. Mix it till it looks like tea. You can find Betadine at any drug store and it is pretty inexpensive. You want to warm pack for about 10 to 15 minutes 1 to 2 times a day.
A vet would be good to go see for antibiotics to prevent infection. Keep in mind that abscesses can reoccur. They can appear to go away only to come back weeks later, this is another reason why you should see a vet. FYI: peroxide is only good for cleaning up blood. It is not a disinfectant as everyone believes. This is why I recommend the Betidine.
Everything stated above is what we did when I worked at a vet. I recommend seeing a vet as soon as you are able. Only a vet can properly diagonose an abscess but the information I have given you can't hurt.
Sometimes abscesses don't open. In these cases the vet will have to open it and insert a drain.
Good Luck!

A rabbit chew is frequently no longer that great of a deal, evaluate it a wound, that desires disenfected, wiped sparkling, bandaged, and dealt with. till that's on the face or someplace quite comfortable i would not concern approximately it, till it seems love that's starting to be contaminated then you definitely could bypass see a doctor. Rabbit bites are in contrast to cat bites which will reason each and every style of issues through bacteria in the cats mouth. Rabbits are particularly sparkling animals and so as long as you preserve the chew sparkling and dealt with it would be ok. on the different hand in the journey that your rabbit is biting you, you fairly could desire to maintain an eye fixed on her/him for different signs and indications of aggression. this may be a intense situation and could be taken care of as such. because of the fact i've got not got any info, i can not quite supply you any suggestion touching on behaviour different than if no longer already it would probable be an outstanding theory to get your rabbit spayed/neutered.

You'll have to get him checked out by a vet. If the area he was bitten in has swelled, it's probably become infected. He'll need antibiotics. Hope everything goes ok.

Here's an off the wall suggestion... how about taking it to the vet. I think they treat animals when they are sick. Probably know a little more than random people on the internet.

He probably has an abcess pushing on his spine. he will need it looked at, possibly lanced and antibiotics. Any vet should be able to treat him. If you cannot afford one, take him to your local Humane Society and ask for assistance. It shouldn't cost you any more than the anitbiotics and an office call to take him in to the vet though.

The best thing to do is to call the vet and ask someone there. I have called the vet twice and both times the nurse there gave me great advise. If it does need medical attention they will ley you know.

See a vet. He might need surgery, but it might be nothing. Rabbits are fragile. The leg might be broken.
