I know that i need an Anti Virus for my computer, so I decided to download Norton Anti Virus only to discover that it is not compatible with the security system that I already have in place. Norton failed to post any warnings to this effect. Once I had Norton in place, it literally "bogged down" my computer. They were very quick to charge my credit card. I used only 1 day of the subscription before finally uninstalling the enrire product. I've searched several sites but am unable to find an e-mail address for Norton Customer Service. I want to request a cancellation.

Unfortunately this is just the way it is with ALL antivirus programs. You cannot have two running simultaneously or they will conflict with one another. And the antivirus creators do state this. We have used AVG, McAffee and Norton. I've always noted their warnings not to run two at a time.

And of course they were quick to charge, just like any other retailer. You bought the product and the fact that it can't run with another security program is not something they are going to easily refund for.

I suggest removing your old one.

As far as an email contact....in the Symantec site if you continue to go through the customer service FAQ you will get to the form to actually contact symantec directly. If you don't want to go through all that, use the toll free number on the site, as listed above by the other poster or Symantec Live Chat. Symantec hasn't had a visible email address for quite some time now.

I'm sorry this happened to you but Norton, et. al does warn people not to run two security systems at once.
