Abuse the Patriot Act is more like it. That has always been why I never fully supported it, a Democrat is eventually going to be in office.

I think that Hillary would not replace a general that came back with unfavorable news about progress in Iraq. I believe that she would listen to candid discussion and not disregard it. How many times do we have to accomplish the mission in Iraq. We removed Saddam and his government, we inserted an elected government. Zarqawi is gone. We the democratic party are announcing victory. Our brave men and women have been given a new task which is not attainable, EVER. They will not eradicate feuding between the Sunni's, Shiites, and Kurds. It hasn't happened in thousands of years and will not ever happen by the force of the united states. The Iraqi people are the only ones capable of accomplishing this final mission, not the us military. They have done their jobs in Iraq and accomplished their mission, now get them back to Afghanistan where the true mission is or get them home..

She'll use the Patriot Act -- which despite what people think is not what allows warrantless wiretapping, or torture, or Gitmo or most of the abuses by the Bush regime.

The Patriot act provides federal funds for families of victims of terrorist attacks, allows the govt to access utility and library records (instrusive, but not private info) and to share info between govt departments.

All the other programs are separate.

She is a very smart person, who is constrained in what she says, because she is a politician. All bets are off, once the next President-elect gets to Washington, and sits in on the latest intelligence briefings. Until then, what politicians say, including Senator Clinton, is largely designed to please and appease the electorate.

TELL ME THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO NOT DESERVE TO GET OUT AND MOST OF ALL WHAT RESPECT SHOULD THEY HAVE FOR AN ADMINISTRATION THAT HAS USED THE WORD TERRORISM AS FRONT TO MANIPULATE THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY AND OTHER COUNTRIES THAT DEFEND OUR STAND BECAUSE OF THE WORD OF THE PRESIDENT.
