i am tring to make a trade with an owner that's ovsessed with calvin johnson. I'm trading Calvin Johnson, Isaac Bruce, Eddie Kennison, and Thomas Jones for Roy Williams, T.J. Houshmanzadeh, Darrell Jackson, and Joseph Addai. I hope the trade happens. If the trade happens, will my team be better?

If Calvin Johns has a decent year and the Chiefs can get their running game situated with the LJ, which should free up Gonzales for more 1 on 1, you should win the superbowl.

QBs - C, both are consistant but neither will put up huge numbers week in and week out
RBs - C+, Travis Henry will have a big year, Jones is a big unknown and Peterson will be sharing carries
WRs - B, Steve Smith is a good one, Calvin Johnson is a gamble but SHOULD be good, Bruce is getting old but will have OK numbers, Kennison is a waste
TE - B, Gonzalez is getting up there but with no LJ as yet, a new QB, and almost nothing for WRs in KC he may get relied on heavily
K - A, can't go wrong with Vinatieri
DEF - B, San Diego should be good unless the Norv curse takes effect, Dallas I wouldn't have picked though

You have a very solid squad. Drew Brees should put up the beasty numbers like last year. Colston and Henderson should have great seasons and Reggie Bush will catch passes out of the backfield. Travis Henry could have a monster season with Denver. All RB's with Denver do well and Henry starting there should do you wonders. Receivers are a little weak. Steve Smith will put up his usual numbers but Calvin is a rookie on a terrible Lions team. Roy Williams usually catches most of the balls there. Isaac is old and Eddie Kennison is inconsistent. Overall you should do well and make the playoffs.

Overall, I'd give your team an 8 of 10.
Your QB's are solid, you may want to start them by defensive match-ups though, as I see Delhomme outplaying Brees a few times.
Your first 2 RB's were great picks. Thomas Jones will be a monster when he's not splitting time. I worry about Peterson for two reasons: 1- He will split time with a guy who rushed for 1200 yards last year, and 2- The Vikings passing game commands zero respect, so he may be running against a lot of 8 man fronts.
The WR's are awesome, I can't believe you got those top 3 all on one team.
TE's are solid, whoever starts at QB for the Chiefs will be looking for Gonzo pretty often.
Viatieri is probably the top K in the league, and you have his bye week covered nicely.
Roy Williams will play a roaming LB, so lean towards DAL when choosing a starting D.

I think it's pretty good. I would try and get rid of Thomas Jones and Eddie Kennison though. I think you'll need a better #2 RB after Travis Henry. Your QB's are pretty decent, but watch out for David Carr taking over the starting job in Carolina. Just try to pick up another backup RB and another #4 WR. Out of 10, I would rate your team a 7.

Not a bad roster at all really. Although I would pick up another quarterback to replace Delhomme if I were you because he will most likely be losing his job to Carr this season. Actually just hold onto him and if he begins do poorly grab Carr before anybody else can LOL. As far as receivers they look pretty solid except for Kennison, I'd suggest picking up a possible sleeper that nobody else has really thought of, just go with your gut feeling on this one.
Huskers07: Drew Brees put up awesome numbers last season and was actually the reason I made it to the superbowl in my league, I lost because he had been eliminated by then and I got stuck with Peyton Manning. Now Brees has even more receivers to throw to and Colston in his 2nd year completely healthy, there is no stopping Brees from putting up Manning like numbers this season.

7 out of 10 here's why.....
qb - brees is a top QB, period! Delhomme is a good backup on bye week and teams with tough defenses for brees
rb - you could improve here just alittle maybe with trading Thomas Jones and a Wide-out(not smith though). If not you still have 2 #1(on their teams depth chart) RB's on your squad.
WR - Steve Smith need I say more..... Calvin Johnson should put up around Colston numbers in that offense
TE - Gonzales will continue to put up top numbers as he always does and Heath Miller will benefit in the Steelers new offensive scheme.
K - only the most consistant kicker in NFL history. Although on that offense he only gets alot of extra points.
DEF - LIGHTS OUT!!!

You got a snappy roster there. I like those picks. You got some steals at WR. With Vinatieri at K, you've got clutch scoring down pat. Good overall selection. 9 of 10.

Not to bad, personally I would start Dallas over San Diego this year! I am also going to say Brees isn't going to put up the numbers you want out of a starting QB!
